The Vicious Circle’, is a honest translation of the life we live…The Maze with no exit, no reward and no place to hide.

Our philosophy is expressed in the form of a Hindi Rock Project that makes an attempt to depict it’s deep rooted hatred in negative politics, indifference and ‘in-the-face’ double standards that are flatly destroying life, especially in this country.

The songs have simple and truthful lyrics about the ‘Obvious’ and ‘In your Face’ issues. These range from Corruption to Indifference to Child Abuse to Failed relations.
They are simple and straight forward, written in simple Hindi, for which one doesn’t need to open up the dictionary nor consult an Urdu expert.
One will realize as the songs go by, that what we are singing, is exactly what YOU are thinking..

The band performs with the sole purpose of reaching out and putting forth their blunt message, rather than indulging in the pool of materialistic politics.
It is an earnest hope that in this quest for reaching out, someone, somewhere, understands the true meaning of ‘The Vicious Circle’, retrospects and makes the first attempt to break out, within.

The songs are written by Aniruddha over a period of 4-5 years over and about issues that he would see and feel around him.
He wrote and composed these into simple bare bone compositions which could be sung and hummed around a campfire…

In 2010 after bumping into a close friend’s guitarist, Abel, bond’s formed and steps were taken to humanize these songs with killer riffs and catchy licks and furious shreds to give these compositions the strength that they needed and make them the power that they are today..
This together with Melvyn’s no-nonsense hammering grooves and Joshua’s low ends…gives this music the simple yet immediately noticeable flavor…
As of 2013, the band is working with a new vocalist, Rahul, who with a long standing background of Commercial performances has proven his mettle at Rock at all the gigs we’ve covered in the past few months.

The music derives it’s roots from all over the place…Progressive rock, Thrash metal, Punk rock, Alternative rock, Power ballads, so much so, even euro dance might have left some traces on us…
