Indian Ocean


Indian Ocean are an Indian rock band formed in New Delhi in 1990. They are considered to be the pioneers of fusion rock genre in India. Susmit Sen, Asheem Chakravarty, Rahul Ram and Amit Kilam were the member’s of the band till Asheem’s death on the 25th of December, 2009. No member has been officially inducted into the band as a replacement. Sushmit and Rahul are the only members who have appeared on the band’s debut album Indian Ocean.




Prasoon Joshi


Prasoon Joshi is a National Award winning Indian lyricist, screenwriter and advertising copywriter. A prolific writer and poet, he published the first of his three books, Main Aur Woh, when he was just 17. He has won the Filmfare Best Lyricist Award twice consecutively: in 2007 and 2008. Prasoon has been feliciated with the prestigious National Award by the President of India , in 2007 for Taare zameen Par and in 2013 for Chittagong. He is the chairman of McCann Worldgroup India.[citation needed] Prasoon has worked with musicians like A R Rahman, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Jatin-Lalit. He wrote the tune for the popular TV show, Satyamev Jayate.




Shankar Mahadevan


Shankar Mahadevan is an Indian music composer and singer. He is a part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio team that composes for Indian films and a playback singer. He is a four time winner of the National Award for the Best Male Playback Singer. He is also the founder of the Shankar Mahadevan Academy which conducts online music lessons in Indian music for students across the globe.
